Description

The Museum Plinth Project invites early career visual artists to apply for one of two six month, non-studio based residencies from 1 July – 31 December 2026. Hosted by the National Museum of Ireland (Natural History and Art & Industry) and Marsh’s Library, artists will undertake sustained research engagement with collections, archives, and institutional expertise, with curatorial and mentoring support. Supported by Dublin City Arts Office and Lab Gallery, Marsh’s Library and the National Museum of Ireland, this project is focused on enquiry, process, and critical reflection.
