Open Call | RFR: Younger You
REWIND<<FASTFORWARD>>RECORD is inviting people from the LGBTQ+ community to take part in our new social media project RFR: Younger You. Appropriating Drag Race’s Finalists Addressing Their Younger Selves, we want you to send us a recent photo of you, a photo of you when you were young(er) [of course you are still young!], and a short voice recording or written caption of advice to your younger self, no more than 60 secs/50 words… so keep it short, sweet and sassy! RFR: Younger You will be rolled out across our Instagram and Facebook accounts in June, offering wit, wisdom, love, insight, and encouragement [all of the things our community does best] to our queer peers and younger generations.
RFR is a national art initiative exploring local LGBTQ+ histories and representation to expand their retelling and relevance through artistic interpretation.
