The largest and longest running sculpture exhibition in Ireland, the Sculpture in Context Annual Open Exhibition will return to the National Botanic Gardens this September. Sculpture in Context are asking artists to respond to the natural and architectural landscape of the gardens to create site specific work. The exhibition will run from 3rd September to 16th October 2020 when work will be exhibited throughout the extensive grounds, in the glasshouses and in the gallery.
Submissions are now open and with the current escalating heath situation and the significant impact of COVID-19, the submission deadline has now been extended to 6pm on Friday 1st May 2020.
Sculpture in Context are conscious that printing and posting a hard copy may prove difficult for some at this time and to facilitate this they will also accept digital submissions in pdf format by email to email@example.com
Sculpture in Context was established in 1985 and is a not for profit organisation run by sculptors.
Full details, entry forms and conditions of entry are available on their website at www.sculptureincontext.com
Please direct all enquiries regarding the exhibition to Sculpture in Context Committee members at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: there is a submission fee of €15 which contributes to the cost of insurance for the exhibition. There is no artist fee if selected.
