In response to a 25% cut in Arts Council funding for 2026, MART is transforming Gallery 1 into a project space for under-represented artists working in:
 
Sculpture
Installation
Performance
Digital media
 
This workspace residency offers:
A large, flexible workspace
€250 artist payment
No pressure to exhibit—just time to develop & experiment
Visibility on MART’s platforms
 
Priority will go to:
Marginalised & LGBTQIA+ artists
Artists with ambitious projects requiring space
Those working in under-supported disciplines
