Join IMMA for a special series of talks and events that features Irish and international artists working with queer archives to reflect on processes of archive reclamation, disruption, interrogation and care.
A roundtable discussion will explore projects by a dynamic panel including writer, curator, organiser Sara Greavu (Outburst, Queer Arts Festival, Belfast), artists Padraig Robinson, Eimear Walshe and Anu Production’s Louise Lowe, Owen Boss and Lynnette Moran.
Artist Karol Radziszewski will present a talk on the social and political contexts that shape his projects DIK magazine and Queer Archive Institute (QAI) with Nathan O’ Donnell, Research Fellow, IMMA/TCD. To conclude events, Eimear Walshe will present the performance An Exaltation of St Joseph in the IMMA grounds.
Presented in the context of CHROMA a programme that brings together artists, educators and activists to respond to methodologies of queer thinking and ideas of ‘intersectionality’ and ‘Protest’ as it relates to IMMA’s programme.
