Ormond Art Studios are currently inviting applications for a short-term studio membership. This opportunity is for the period of 12 months and will most likely suit to, but is not limited to, anyone who looks for a space to work on a project.
The studio space is available from 1st July 2022 until 30th June 2023. We welcome applications from visual artists across Ireland.
Ormond Art Studios is an artist-run initiative in Dublin city, which consists of a total of eight members. All members have access to two shared studio spaces, both based on Ormond Quay. And can avail of shared studio equipment, such as DSLR camera, video camera, sound recorder, mics, projector, and digital workspace. There is also a project space available for any short-term larger works or/and laying out projects.
A short-term member is given a dedicated personal space of roughly 2 x 2.25 m. The monthly rent is €170 which includes utilities. A €155 deposit with the first month’s rent is required to be paid, which will be returned back upon the end of the membership. If the short-term member can and agrees to take up a role in the running of the studios, the monthly rent will be reduced to €155.
