Most painting problems begin before the first brushstroke. In this practical workshop, you’ll learn a repeatable process for making the big decisions first—composition, values, editing and design—before committing to canvas.
Through demonstrations, discussion and practical exercises, you’ll learn how to simplify reference material, test ideas and develop stronger painting plans.
You’ll leave with a process you can use again and again, plus two or three painting plans ready for the easel.
