Workshop | Layering and Textures in Colouring Pencils with Dave Duffy at Artform

In this course, held in Artform seaside studio, the focus is on coloured pencil techniques used to create tone effects ideal for portraiture but useful across a variety of subjects. It offers an overview of materials and their application, guides participants through applying colour theory to the layering process, offers tips on creating realistic textures and leads the participants in experimenting with mixed media as well as choosing reference material for realistic drawings. Artists will work on their own drawing project, guided by the tutor through one to one and group tuition.
