Description

This one day workshop offers an introduction to monoprinting using a printing press. Monoprint is a versatile printmaking technique, combining inked surfaces, a range of textures and mark-making to create one-off prints. Each print is unique and cannot be repeated, offering an introduction to a fun and expressive way of printmaking.

The course will cover: inking up plates and colour mixing; making stencils to create shapes to print with; and incorporating found textures and patterns as well as pieces from the Museum’s collection.
