In this 2-day intensive workshop, participants will explore the ancient technique of pâte de verre (glass paste) to create unique pieces in two dimensions and three dimensions.
All the essentials will be covered in the class—mixing glass, hand building moulds, firing and divesting. No prior experience with glass is required.
The basic principles of pâte de verre will be explained and step by step demonstrations given by Alison Lowry.
Once these are understood, experimentation is encouraged!
