Workshop | Portrait in Oils Workshop with Pierce Rhodes at Universal Art Supplies
The aim of this workshop is to help you paint with confidence by helping you to learn to make decisions with both your brush marks and colour mixing. The day will start off with a hands on demonstration of how to lay in the foundation of your subject. With a special focus on points of interests to help you with your proportions.
Following on from this, there will be a brief tutorial on mixing your paints using the colours listed in the material list. You will then move onto learning colour blocking and how to properly render the subject.
At end of the workshop the hope would be that you will leave with a greater understanding of painting a portrait along with an eagerness to start your next piece.
