Description

Tutor Emily McGardle

Introduction to screen printed monotypes using water-based acrylic inks and watercolour paints. Students will draw and paint directly onto a screen to produce a series of monotypes on paper. Coating/exposing screens will not be covered. The workshop will include looking at examples of monotypes, demo of printing monotypes with water-based acrylic inks, students printing and demo of printing monotypes with watercolour paints and water-soluble crayons/markers. Suitable for students with previous screen printing experience.
