WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This two day workshop will introduce participants to screen print processes and practical skills using their own art work and ideas. Our state of the art facilities will support the making and creating of a Screenprint using stencils made using our Kippax tech exposure unit, students will learn to emulsion coat a screen which is placed in the unit and exposed with ultraviolet light.
Students can expect to be printing their first colour quite soon into the process, managing your workspace, handling screen printing equipment and tools and using water based inks. Using this method, you will explore the diversity and immediacy of screen printing while learning new skills involving processes of coating, exposing and printing. You will also learn how to register, mix, choose colours and complete a professionally presented edition of colour prints.
