Astrid Newman and Francesca Hawker lead this workshop, open to anyone who is curious about experimenting with text. Developed through an ongoing collaborative exchange and inspired by The Hundreds (Berlant & Steward) Short Vines proposes language as a medium that traverses contexts.

Through a series of exercises, participants will be invited to use pre-existing phrases as building blocks with which to build new narratives.

The workshop follows Newman and Hawker’s min residencies at Mermaid Art Centre and The Green Corridor, Brussels.
