Session Title : 1. Social Media, to include Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Core Content : Understanding the different audiences on each platform. How to post across each social media channel, encouraging engagement. How to run paid adverts on Facebook and Instagram.
By the end of this training, participants will be better equipped to post more regularly and strategically across social media and understand how to grow their following and drive bookings for their event.

Please Note: The above session is likely to continue into the beginning of Session 2, below. It is advised that participants attend both workshops to receive maximum benefit.
Session Title : 2. Eventbrite and Websites
Core Content : The role played by Eventbrite in event management. How to optimise a webpage for your event.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to set up their event on Eventbrite and sell tickets. They will also be able to best optimise a page on their website (if they have one), to bring traffic in.

These workshops consist of :
• Content delivery by Barry Murphy, live via Zoom
• Individual work completed by each participant with his/her own events in mind.
• Group exercises, where participants work together for idea generation.
• Post-training handouts emailed to participants.
Barry Murphy holds a BA in International Marketing & Languages, along with a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing. He holds Certificates from FETAC (QQI) in Train the Trainer and NUIG in Training & Education. Barry has been delivering marketing training through agencies such as LEOs, Leader Companies and PPNs since 2003. Prior to that, he was Sales & Marketing Manager for an Irish exporter for 8 years and General Manager for a French exporter for 5 years. He has trained artists, designers and others in the creative sector through programmes delivered on behalf of The Leitrim Design House, Ignite Creative (Roscommon County Council), Amateur Drama Society of Ireland and Creative Frame (Leitrim County Council).
