Description

Have you been feeling creatively blocked, stuck in self-doubt, or longing to reconnect with your sense of play, purpose, and expression?

The Artist’s Way at Segotia is a 13-week guided journey back to your creative self, a weekly sanctuary where you’ll uncover inspiration, reclaim your voice, and nurture your inner artist, no matter your background or experience.

Each week, move through different journaling and self-reflection exercises to help you overcome creative blocks, while finding community and artistic accountability in a supportive, inspiring space.

Whether you’re a professional artist, a closet poet, a burned-out creative, or someone who’s simply curious, this course offers a space to listen deeply, show up honestly, and create with courage.

Inspired by Julia Cameron’s iconic book The Artist’s Way, our gatherings are grounded in curiosity, reflection, and community.

You’ll be encouraged to write Morning Pages, take yourself on weekly Artist Dates, and explore a new theme each week – from recovering your sense of safety and identity to embracing autonomy, possibility, and faith in your creative path.

A Gentle Note

While The Artist’s Way offers powerful tools for creative recovery, it can also stir up emotional responses as we move through the chapters. Please approach this journey with self-awareness and a willingness to tend to whatever comes up for you along the way.

Maria will be available to offer extra support throughout the course, but it’s important to take personal responsibility for your own process and utilise your trusted support system while engaging with the material.

Each week includes:

  • Gentle check-ins and group reflections
  • Core exercises from the book, and creative prompts, explored together
  • Honest discussion around resistance, breakthroughs, and fears
  • A safe space to share and witness one another’s growth
  • Check-ins from Maria between classes in our community Whatsapp Group
  • A ‘listen-in remotely’ option if you can’t make it
  • Notion template to track your progress

What You’ll Need:

  • A copy of The Artist’s Way  by Julia Cameron
  • A notebook or journal
  • Approx 5-7 hours a week to dedicate to the course (including morning pages, artist dates, and required reading)

Early Bird: €330
Full Price: €350

And can you set up: Flexible payment option: Pay €50 deposit to secure your spot, and pay the balance before the course starts.
