Workshop | The Beauty of Ukrainian Folk Art: Petrykivka Painting at the Linenhall Arts Centre

A unique creative experience celebrating Petrykivka painting – a vibrant Ukrainian folk decorative art form recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its main motifs are floral designs, but the tradition also includes birds, animals, people, houses and imaginative, fantastical elements. These two hands-on workshops will introduce you to the traditional techniques, colours and patterns of this joyful art style. Whether you are an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush before, you are warmly welcome. Workshop dates : Saturday, 28 February 2026 & Saturday, 7 March.
