Very Interesting Perspectives: The Radical Potential of Integrated Audio Description

In this workshop, blind artist and audio description expert Amelia Lander-Cavallo (they/them) will introduce participants to Integrated Audio Description (IAD), where description is incorporated into the main audio of an artwork or performance. Amelia will explore how IAD can be both a creative method and an access tool, sharing examples of successful projects and their experience as a blind artist. Participants will also try introductory exercises to explore their own IAD voice and perspective.
