Description

This workshop, reflecting aspects of her own art practice, will explore creating through tufting. Wool tufting entails passing varied lengths of wool through canvas, either with a punch needle or tufting gun, resulting in a carpeted textile art form.

During this two-day workshop, you will have the chance to learn the basics of punch needling, try out different tufting techniques and styles, and experience using a machine tufting gun.

You will leave the workshop with your own hand-needled, punched textile work and square patch samples made from the tufting gun. Materials are included.
