Workshop | Wood Engraving Taster Session at Seacourt Print Workshop

This morning provides the perfect opportunity to have a go at – and get that all-important first feel for – wood engraving.

We will use very tightly grained woodblocks and engraver’s tools, both of which are specific to this form of printmaking. The class will be based entirely around exploratory mark-making, so there is no need to bring a drawing – just turn up and have fun. You will print your woodblock using one of Seacourt’s Victorian presses.

This course is equally suitable for a person new to printmaking and one who has printed before.
