Description
Tutor: Louise Leonard
This workshop introduces the student to the reduction technique of relief printmaking. The grain of the wood becomes an intrinsic part of the image, which is the charm of this medium.
Students will be shown how to adapt their own imagery to the technique, how to handle the cutting tools, rollers and printing press, choose suitable paper, register the block for different colours and how to present their final finished edition of prints.
