Workshop | Woodsculpting with Con Gent at the Schoolhouse for Art

Learn the tools and techniques of woodcarving with sculptor Conleth Gent, whose large works feature in our Sculpture Garden. Held “Under the Tent” at the Schoolhouse, this beginner-friendly course covers tool care, wood types, relief carving, and carving in the round. Working on your own project, you’ll gain practical skills and take home a finished piece. Please bring a sketch, photocopy, or clay model as reference.
