Description

Small Seeds is delighted to present free creative drawing workshops for adults in the beautiful surrounds of Straffan’s Steam Museum gardens. Explore colour, pattern and texture with award-winning artist Lorna Watkins; using cardboard and collage as a starting point, Lorna will guide you in slowing down, looking around and making marks.

These outdoor workshops take place over two days (7th and 8th of August, from 11am – 1pm each day); you’re welcome to attend either or both days. If you would like to attend both days, please book each day separately.

Small Seeds is a slow-growing arts and environmental project, rooted in care and connections between people, plants, and place. Always in favour of a snail’s pace, Small Seeds has been meandering through the seasons since 2021, led by artist Brenda Kearney in collaboration with associate workshop artists and educators. Small Seeds would like to thank Creative Ireland and Kildare Arts for their support.
