Rod Puppet Making and Introduction to Puppetry Performance and Devising for adults

Two one day workshops which can be taken singly or in combination: one workshop €100 (or €80 for those unwaged)

or €180 / 140 for those taking both workshops (pay half on both pages to book)

Rod Puppet Making: Guided by Púca Puppets’ Niamh Lawlor, professional maker and performer for close to 30 years you can enjoy creating a character to assist and inspire your work or fun in the future. This short one day introduction to making will focus on rod operated puppets constructed from recycled, found and craft materials. Basic materials are included but you are welcome to bring your own inspiring extras if you wish, email for a list of what we will be working with after booking.

Introduction to Puppetry Performance and Devising for adults: In this short, one day introduction, guided by Púca Puppets’ Niamh Lawlor, professional maker and performer for close to 30 years, you can enjoy an exploration into the magic of puppetry, learning some basics of performance and undertake simple exercises designed to help create character and starting points for stories. You can use your own puppet or some of Púca’s created performers and collaborate with other learners in a playful but inspiring atmosphere.
