Job Description

Summary: To provide Audience Development services for An Táin Arts Centre. To develop and maintain relationships with local communities and key stakeholders, including active retirement and men’s shed groups, youth clubs, sporting organisations, primary, secondary and third level schools, corporate social clubs, and other communities of place or interest. In collaboration with the Managing Director and Assistant Manager, to initiate and lead audience-focussed arts events, workshops, tours, talks and other programming. To implement the sales and marketing strategy of An Táin Arts Centre, and to support the administrative and front of house functions of the organisations when needed. To act as a point of information for the organisation, dealing with customer enquiries, and providing a high level of service to all An Táin Arts Centre visitors.

Terms: Contract: Part-time (20 hours per week), fixed 12 month contract, with 3 month probationary period.

Location: The Audience Development Officer will complete desk-based work in the Basement Gallery at An Táin Arts Centre for part of the week, with remaining hours used to complete outreach work and assist with events as needed. Regular evening and weekend work will be required.

Salary: €27,300 pro rata (€15,600 for 20 hours / €15 per hour)
