Aosdána General Assembly, 5 April, Cork

Aosdána, the affiliation of creative artists in Ireland, will hold its 40th General Assembly on Friday, 5th April 2019 in the Aula Maxima of University College Cork. This year’s General Assembly, which will be opened by UCC President Patrick O’Shea, will include contributions from senior students of the School of Music and Theatre, UCC during the afternoon public session as well as an evening reception on 4th April with presentations from Aosdána members.

Aosdána, established in 1981, to honour artists whose work has made an outstanding contribution to the creative arts in Ireland, and to encourage and assist members in devoting their energies fully to their art, includes members working in a wide range of disciplines: architecture, choreography, music, literature and the visual arts.
