Art Journaling Workshop with Kate Campbell at Blackwatch Studio

Blackwatch Studio is hosting an Art Journaling Workshop with artist Kate Campbell. Art journaling has a long-standing artistic tradition. Artists through the centuries have kept note books in which they sketched, practiced, experimented and recorded themselves. An art journal is not a sketchbook; you can create beautiful pages without drawing or sketching by using collage techniques, stamp, images, photographs, and publications. Simply put, an art journal is a journal in which you combine art and words to express yourself. That’s it. It’s not complex and there aren’t really any rules for art journaling. It’s all about self-expression.

Cost including materials (it is recommended to bring collage material that is personal to you) €75 tea/coffee/biscuits included. Please bring own lunch. €30 Deposit secures place.
