Arts Management Apprenticeship at Black Box, Belfast

This is a paid apprenticeship position, funded by the Northern Ireland Creative Employment Programme. The position will also enable the post holder to gain a Level 3 Certificate in Community Arts Management. Applicants must be aged from 16 to 24.

Hours of Work: 24hrs per week (3 days: Mon, Wed and Friday, 10 to 6pm)
Wage: £6.80 per hour
Time Period: 2 years (with possibility of extension)

Job Outline: Black Box are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice, who is passionate about the arts, to help with the smooth running of the organisation by providing admin and marketing support to the Director, Venue Manager and Accounts staff. The position requires a positive, can-do attitude and includes a range of administration and marketing tasks from website management, answering telephone queries, managing bookings to helping set up for events. As a dynamic arts organisation and exciting live music venue we can provide a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in arts management and promotion of events.
