The BBC Audience Council is looking for new members. The Audience Council advises the BBC Trust, the BBC’s governing body, on the views of audiences in Northern Ireland and how well the BBC is meeting their expectations.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need an informed interest in BBC services, along with an understanding of the views and needs of audiences in Northern Ireland. You will have the ability to discuss strategy, offer advice and work with others to set priorities – as well as being willing to take part in around eight meetings a year and a range of outreach activities.
To make sure we capture the views of all sections of the audience, the BBC Audience Council welcomes applications from people from diverse backgrounds and experiences and from different parts of Northern Ireland. The role will be offered for a three-year term and, although members are all volunteers, reasonable expenses will be paid.
Application forms are available at www.bbc.co.uk/acni or call 0370 333 1918 Textphone 03700 100 212
