Bealtaine Festival Internships | Dawn Chorus and Social Media/Administrator Interns 2019

Age & Opportunity’s Bealtaine Festival is looking for two interns, one for the Dawn Chorus project and the other a Social Media/Administrator to be part of the Festival Team 2019.
The intern will play an important role in supporting the Dawn Chorus 2019. The Dawn Chorus is a nationwide choral event in which older people come together with a local choir in their area and sing by a scenic location, usually beside water.

Bealtaine Festival are keen to support the professional development of their interns; an internship with the Bealtaine Festival will provide unique opportunities to be involved in a successful collaborative festival. Specifically you will have an opportunity to:
Utilise your skills as well as learn and develop new skills.
Interact and network with a wide variety of people.
Travel to and attend events across Dublin and surrounding counties.
Learn about issues concerning older people.
Please note: These are unpaid internships. Attendance at all performances/events will be free and expenses covered. Travel is covered (within the Dublin area) or a contribution towards travel if coming from outside, up to the value of €150. Any expenses related to the projects will be covered, for example if there is a need to travel intercity.
Time Commitment: A minimum of 12 hours a week. The internship is for a period of approx 12- 16 weeks and will take place between Jan and June 2019 but may commence earlier depending on the availability of the intern.
