Bronze Casting Workshop with Mick and Darragh Wilkins at Kilnagleary Studios

Over this three day workshop participants will be introduced to the various stages and materials used in the process of bronze casting and mold making and will leave with their own bronze piece upon completion of the workshop.

This project presents an opportunity for visual artists to make new artworks using traditional and modern techniques.

Participants will learn how to create sand molds as well as being involved in and experiencing each stage of the bronze casting process.

There will also be a demonstrations in more advanced casting methods as well as the opportunity to discuss the various processes involved in casting different materials such as wax and resin. All materials will be provided. Tea/Coffee breaks.
