South West Inner City Network (SWICN) is a community organisation affiliated with South Dublin Voluntary Groups Community Employment Scheme. SWICN provides a wide range of services for adults and young people living in Dublin 8.

SWICN are looking two motivated individuals with an interest in working with young people. The successful candidates should have excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and IT skills. The role encompasses youth development, arts and crafts, graphic design and digital media instruction. People with an artistic background, possibly specialising in film or music are especially welcome to apply.

• Hours per week: 19.5 Hours
• Number of Positions: 2
• Salary: Community Employment Programme Rates

Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 25 years of age. Applicants must also be in receipt of an Irish social welfare payment for 1 year or more.
