Creative Zero-Waste Arts, Crafts and Repair Workshop at St John’s College, Cork

In this highly entertaining workshop open to absolute beginners, you will be working exclusively with recycled materials to create high quality objects such as: Simple patchwork designs, Beautiful old fashion toys, Basic weaving. Hand made traditional decorations in wood and fabric, Bookbinding projects.. and much more.

You will learn how to make simple repairs, distress, up-cycle and re-use wood, fabric as well as other materials. Students are encouraged to ask questions about projects they wish to work on at home.

This workshop is also open to parents and school teachers who wish to make sturdy beautiful arts and crafts projects at low cost while contributing to direct recycling.

Student will receive clear, step by step handouts to use at home at the end of each class.
