Cyanotype Workshop at Marlay Park Craft Courtyard, Co. Dublin

A morning of creative photography in the beautiful surrounds of Marlay Park. Create striking Prussian blue prints on fine art paper using one of the earliest photographic printmaking processes.

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses a combination of two safe chemicals that, when mixed together and exposed under sunlight, produce a cyan coloured print…the original ‘blueprint’.

Participants will learn about the cyanotype process from start to finish and will be given the opportunity to produce up to four final art pieces to take home.
All materials supplied – Refreshments included.

Jane Cummins and Yusuf Amod are both photographers from Dublin. They met whilst studying for our photography degree at IADT. Jane went on to do her photography Masters at Ulster University, graduating in 2017.

Their aim is to use their creative passion to preserve and raise awareness of alternative photographic processes’ once thought to be slowly fading out in an ever-increasing digital era.
Yusuf and Jane have been running their creative photography workshops since opening their studio and gallery in the idyllic surrounds of Marlay Park, located at the foot of the Dublin Mountains.
