Digital Traces – A Glitch Seminar comprises of four presentations in response to digital artworks which are interactive, divisive and political, and at their core leaving a significant residue. Past and present participants of Dublin’s NCAD Art in the Contemporary World and IADT’s Art and Research Collaboration masters programmes will open a discussion around artistic practices which directly engage with digital technology.

Featuring: Hugh McCabe’s “Ghosts In The Machines: Digital Archaeologies and Viral Art”, Bernie Masterson’s “Bold Writing” – A Video and Presentation analysing the act of writing as leaving a resonating footprint, Theo Honohan’s “Product and Sum: Putting processes together; composition in digital art” and a presentation from Pierre Jolivet on “Intermedia Art and Self-Generative Processes.”
