Discussion Series | Spring Academic Program, The Hunt Museum, Limerick

Wednesday 22 February to Wednesday 29th March 2017

Limerick 2030: What is the Future of our City?

Join us on to learn about Limerick’s 2030 plans and how these changes can be set in their historical context. Each evening a different aspect of Limerick’s built heritage – public spaces, architecture, public sculptures, city block and the architecturally significant Georgian Quarter will be examined and their historical evolution, significance and value today will be discussed. Sources too – documents and images – will be discussed; how they can be used in writing history and understanding the present. Discussion will revolve around future plans and hopes for our city, and will focus on particular current issues.

Booking essential €100 (incl. €30 deposit due upon booking), €60 for Docents, €90 for Friends of the Hunt.
