SUMMARY:Event | ON THE ROPES - Cap Launch at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the launch of ON THE ROPES\, a new cap designed by v
isual artist and studio member Léann Herlihy for Temple Bar Gallery + Stu
dios. Be the first to buy the cap and get a chance to screenprint your own
limited edition tote bag\, while enjoying some rehydrating refreshments.\
n\nAlongside a nostalgic naughties shrug emoticon\, the cap features text
pulled from the female wrestling magazine Fighting Gals Monthly: A Galaxy
of Female Combat where women's sexuality was deployed as a combative tool
to patriarchal resistance. The cap comes with a pencil inscribed with the
words 'Bounce Back!' and a custom-designed\, 3D-printed pencil holder.
