From the 13th to the 20th of October 2018 ARTisBOOK organizes, in cooperation with 25 galleries, museums and other cultural vernues, the Week of the Artist Book in the city of Groningen. There will be exhibitions, lectures, talks and workshops about the artist book from the sixties untill now. An artist book aims to be a work of art. Often it is made in a small edition. Manual or craft processes play an important role. It is a work of art that should be taken in hands and read from beginning to the end.
