STONE CARVING IN ASKEATON ASKEATON CONTEMPORARY ARTS: WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD 2022 FRIDAY 17 JUNE: 10am -1pm & SATURDAY 18 JUNE: 12 noon – 3pm at ASKEATON CIVIC TRUST
With its historic mediaeval buildings, Askeaton features many unique stone carvings in its midst. Keeping alive this tradition, join carvers STEPHEN BURKE and MARK RANALOW who will demonstrate the skills of their profession, and guide visitors to try out and create their own stone carvings. No booking or previous experience is required, and all equipment is supplied. Join on Friday morning for Askeaton’s “Big Market” in East Square.
