Through the presence of special guest Yvonne McDevitt, FCYFF 2022 turns a spotlight on experimental filmmaking for the first time. There are many ways to make films, many ways to tell stories and many creative paths in filmmaking. The films submitted to the festival every year show that young filmmakers explore and embrace them all. FCYFF is thrilled to now be focusing on this exciting approach to film.
Following the conversation on Saturday, there is a screening of FCYFF’s Spotlight programme celebrating the vision of emerging filmmakers of third level age. The screening takes place at 2:30pm also at the Regal Cinema, Youghal.
