 hthouses and martello towers around Ireland’s coast.Through these prints
 \, Susan Early examines lighthouses and martello towers as enduring mariti
 me landmarks—structures shaped by their landscapes\, responsive to the e
 lements and emblematic of protection\, navigation and resilience at the me
 eting point of land and sea. Shaped by both geography and climate\, these 
 landmarks were conceived not only as navigational beacons but also as prot
 ective refuges\, homes and workplaces.
