With the opening of our Institute, the Return Gallery at 37 Merrion Square has reopened as well!

“Between Telemorphosis and Security Zones” is part of the exhibition series “A hurry through which known and strange things pass”. A season of propositions, performances, experiments and scenarios by recent graduates of the MFA Art in the Contemporary World. For this programme, the gallery is a hasty site (a hurry) where materials and objects (known and strange) move through, change direction and (pass). Each fortnight presents a different aspect of research-in-process, staged briefly, with intent. It is an opportunity to gather the untethered and unfeathered moments of making, thinking, acting and doing via an evolving exhibition.

From Friday 4 December to 8 January, visit “Between Telemorphosis and Security Zones” by María del Buey and Dominique Crowley, an installation about the ubiquity of technology: “Our everyday, ordinary lives occupy virtual spatial constructions, modulated by screens, in flux between firewalls and passwords. Technology is found in us and we find ourselves in technology. We don’t even have to think about it.”

Mon – Thurs: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Fri: 1 – 5.30 p.m.
Sat: 10 a.m – 1.30 p.m.
