DESCRIPTION:\n\nNCAD Gallery is delighted to host ‘Common Threads: A Gent
 le Festival of Welcome’\, a collaboration between Jennie Moran (Dublin) 
 and Theatre and Interactive Arts Company The Bare Project (Sheffield\, UK)
 \, which is a project emerging through Jennie Moran’s residency in NCAD
 ’s Field.\nThrough the residency and this exhibition\, we welcome the Hi
 gsad Alool Weavers collective to NCAD to construct a performative\, intera
 ctive ‘living room’\, built using Somali weaving knowledge and craft.\
 nAs the living room takes shape\, there will be workshops\, talks\, and a 
 closing event offering an evening of music co-hosted with the Dublin Somal
 i community.
