SUMMARY:Creative Transparency | Waiting Space (Chris Falconer) at Waterford
  Medieval Museum
DESCRIPTION:Installed in 13th-century Choristers Hall\, this interactive in
stallation by Waiting Space (Chris Falconer) resembles familiar architectu
res of confession/recording/voting booths - threshold spaces we enter to u
ndertake acts of vulnerability &amp\; privacy - but here constructed in tr
ansparent materials. A specialised microphone captures internal sounds of
touch to the structure itself\, amplifying even subtle gesture\, which tri
gger audio-reactive lighting. Exploring self-awareness\, exposure\, and cr
 eation\, it invites visitors to tap\, brush\, &amp\; listen - becoming bot
h observer &amp\; instrument of the piece.
