The work is to be exhibited in Mallow Town Hall and features works by Amna Walayat (Cork), Roxana Manouchehri (Dublin), Hina Khan (Kinsale) & Samir Rana (Galway). The exhibition celebrates the work of these migrant artists as they bring the Indo-Persian art style to pastures new. Facilitated by Cork County Producer-in-Residence Amna Walayat, this promises to be a visual feast. “How exciting it is to acknowledge this unique practice of these migrant artists through this exhibition. This exhibition not only promotes the diversity in Ireland but also engage the cross-border audience linked with the participating artists via social media in their native countries and the diaspora all around the world. This exhibition of Indo-Persian Miniature Painting has a unique position in the Irish art and cultural landscape. It is the first time that the all four miniature artists living and working in various parts of Ireland are offering a collective show exclusively based on Indo-Persian miniature style. “Amna Walayat” 17th Sept Friday 01:00-08:00pm 21st Sept Tuesday – 25th Sept Saturday.
