SUMMARY:Daphne's Theatre | Beatrice O'Connell at Taylor Galleries
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition continues from 29/01/2026 to 21/02/2026.\n\nTaylor G
alleries presents Daphne's Theatre\, a new exhibition by Dublin-based mult
idisciplinary artist Beatrice O'Connell. The exhibition features paintings
in which nature has begun to take over\, suggesting a fragile balance whe
re decay and renewal coexist.\nDrawing on the myth of Daphne and informed
by the work of Samuel Beckett\, O'Connell combines painting\, photography\
, and mixed-media collage. Recurrent motifs of scaffolding and derelict st
ructures reflect on the instability of systems designed to endure\, while
nature emerges as a transformative force.
