SUMMARY:Eating The Sun | Liliana Zeic at Project Arts Centre
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nExhibition continues from 01/05/26 until 18/07/26.\n\n\n\
nThe Polish-born\, Warsaw-based artist Liliana Zeic works with craft techn
 iques\, video\, photography\, objects\, and text\, creating intermedia and
performative projects based on artistic research.\n\n\n\nEating the Sun
is part of a research-led curatorial project\, developed in collaboration
with Dr Aleksandra Gajowy (UCD)\, designed to introduce Central and East
ern European (CEE) lesbian artistic practices to an Irish audience. The cu
rrent heightened interest in the region – spurred by events such as the
Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing attacks on queer and trans liv
es\, as well as women’s reproductive rights – has also highlighted the
persistent lack of understanding of the CEE region\, particularly in the
 global North.\n\n\n\n\n
