DESCRIPTION:\nBog Bothy is a touring collection of new work\, built outcome
 s\, and ambitious proposals toward a new peatlands architecture\, presente
 d by the Irish Architecture Foundation and 12th Field.\n\n\n\nBog Bothy is
  touring to Girley Bog\, Co. Meath on 16-17 August during National Heritag
 e Week\, following a successful run in Clara.\n\n\n\nBog Bothy includes a 
 new Bothy shelter\, an exhibition of photographs by Shane Hynan and drawin
 gs by 12th Field\, work by artist in residence Luke Casserly\, and a publi
 c programme of workshops\, tours and performances on our evolving relation
 ship with Ireland’s peatlands through the lens of architecture and place
 making.\n\n\n\nThe bothy structure has been co-created with communities in
  Offaly\, Louth and Meath and designed by architects Evelyn D’Arcy and D
 avid Jameson of 12th Field.\n\n\n\nAll events are free but must be booked
