Explore the Act of Looking: Open Studio Event | Kate McElory at Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen

Kate’s art process is a multifaceted, layered process of enquiry. She is interested in the invisible forces that shape and affect our environment and our actions. Space is an important component in her work and she combines photography, found materials and semi- transparent and transparent layers to evoke spatial complexity, inviting the viewer in to look closer. She explores how these different components combine and interrelate to evoke subtle associations.
21 – 25 July
Kate will display her work in studio, be on hand to discuss the work, and invite viewers to experience the work and respond using an open method of enquiry.
