SUMMARY:first-person | Isabel English at GOMA Waterford
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition continues from the 1st of November to the 29th of No
 vember 2025\n\nOpening Saturday 1Nov 4–6pm\, GOMA Waterford\n\nThrough t
he combined mediums of photography\, textile\, and sculpture\, artist Isab
el English extends from the literary genre of autofiction – merging auto
biographical truths with fictionalised renderings – to create contextual
ly sensitive installations. Drawing on the architecture of the home\, they
fuse sites of personal significance with the politics of psychology. Body
and building become analogous: the body acts as an architecture housing e
motional interiority\, while the building aspires to protect those who dwe
ll within it.\n\nGallery opens 11am–5pm\, closed on Sundays and Mondays.
